Introduction Impala Terminals Group facilitates the global trade of commodities by offering producers and consumers reliable and efficient access to international markets. We look for Professionals with University Degree in Engineering or relevant fields, with extensive experience in Operational Technology and project management, as well as management experience on financial planning, budgeting, and organizational management. Master’s degree and PMP certification are preferred, with an understanding of technical infrastructure and information technology. Strong working knowledge of Oil and Gas is required, and understanding of Oil/Downstream platforms would be advantegous. Proven expertise in integrating Industrial equipment and understanding communication protocols, as well as experience with networking routers, firewalls, switches such as Cisco, Citrix, VPN, and Link optimization appliances, and Automation processes. Advanced written and spoken English is essential. Strong communication skills across all levels of an organization and different types of audiences. Ability to travel at very short notice to all countries where there are active transportation management system (TMS) operations. Position objectives Lead the different teams within Operational Technology (OT) in aligning with other functional teams in the necessities for Technology in all types of terminals while streamlining where possible. Develop and deploy the overall OT strategy aligned with the objectives set by the Executive Committee. Develop detailed guidelines and overall direction for the OT team. Establish the appropriate methodology to follow for the OT Project teams, Support teams, and Analysts. Establish SLAs with of service for support teams which are aligned with heads of functional teams across all types of Terminals. Monitor support team effectiveness and adherence to the established SLAs. Provide regular reporting to Executive Committee on projects’ progresses. The position involves the previously mentioned tasks but is not limited to them.
